Sobhita Dhulipala Pours Rice Mixture Over Naga Chaitanya’s

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding pictures have gone viral on social media. While fans got to see glimpses of some fun and memorable moments from ‘Sochay’ wedding, we have now got our hands on an unseen picture from the Talambarlu ceremony during their wedding.

The ‘Made in Heaven’ actress was seen pouring rice and turmeric mixture on Chay’s head as part of the joyous ceremony while her loved ones surrounded her.

In a picture that surfaced on Instagram, Sobhita Dhulipala can be seen dressed as a traditional South Indian bride in a red and white Kanjeevaram saree. She looks happy as she takes part in the Talambarlu ceremony and pours rice and turmeric mixture on Naga Chaitanya’s head.

Chay was seen in an ivory coloured sherwani. As Sobhita poured rice mixture on him, the guests around him looked happy. For those who don’t know, Talambralu is a Telugu wedding ritual in which the bride and groom shower rice and pearls mixed with turmeric on each other. The ceremony symbolises showering love, happiness and prosperity on the partner. Check out the picture below!

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. In a picture that went viral yesterday, the two were seen posing together in front of the statue of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Their wedding was attended by several celebrities including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and his family, PV Sindhu, Rana Daggubati, Anurag Kashyap, SS Rajamouli, Karthi and others.

Yesterday, a picture of Anurag Kashyap at Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s wedding also surfaced on Instagram. Anurag, dressed in a black kurta, was seen posing behind the bride. Sobhita Dhulipala made her acting debut with Anurag Kashyap’s 2016 film Raman Raghav 2.0.

She also worked with him in the 2020 anthology horror film Ghost Stories. Meanwhile, other videos from the wedding featured glimpses of SS Rajamouli, Karthi and others.

Yesterday, Nagarjuna also shared some lovely pictures from the wedding ceremony. He wrote a note in which he expressed his gratitude towards his family, friends, fans and the media.

A part of the note read, “My son’s wedding was not just a family celebration – it became a fond memory because of the warmth and support shared with all of you. From the bottom of our hearts, the Akkineni family thanks you all for the countless blessings you have showered on us.”
